In the Identity window, enter your information as follows:
Your Name - Enter your first and last name.
E-mail Address - Enter your e-mail address.
In the Server Information window, enter the following information:
Your incoming server is a POP server
Incoming mail server - Enter mail.{yourdomain.com} for your incoming mail server.
Use Global Inbox (yes)
Outgoing mail server - Enter mail.{yourdomain.com} for your outgoing mail server.
User Name
Your User Name is your Email Address
Thunderbird will connect and download any email on the server. It will ask you to input your password. You have the option to let Thunderbird remember the password or to choose to input it manually at each connection
Next, to set up your Outgoing mail properly, go to Tools | Account Settings
Highlight your account and click Edit
In the Security and Authentication section, tick 'Use name and password'. Enter your email address as the user name
The first time you send an email, Thunderbird will ask you for your SMTP server password. The password is the same as the password for your incoming server.
